
A chart like this is exactly what got me into the nutrition field. When I saw it on the desk of my would- be mentor, I was hooked.
I’d initially gone in for pain in my right shoulder. I’d gone to several chiropractic appointments only for it to consistently come back. I was even let go from a job that I loved because “I was a liability”— as lifting heavy groceries could make it flare up and come out of place.
Eventually, I got to the root cause, and now the occurrence of it in multiple years could be counted on one hand. I’m always able to get rid of it nutritionally— without needing a chiropractic adjustment.
Chiropractic and physical therapy have their place; alignment, muscle and fascia health all have their unique influences on overall health including the organs. However, as my mentor and chiropractor told me, the body always wants to go back into alignment.
